My Life As I know It Now and A Blessed One At That--
"I may live with CRPS and Fibromyalgia, but IT hasn't taken ME!"
Where to start...
9 years ago, I was injured on the job of my dreams and crushed my Sural nerve. A horrible sound and excruciating pains rushed upon me and within seconds that life as an overachiever, who barely slowed to enjoy all of what God had
blessed me with came to a screeching halt! I now live with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/ CRPS, which is a
relentless, chronic nerve pain syndrome.
This year brought on the new diagnosis of Fibromyalgia which can be described as chronic, widespread pain,
fatigue, and allodynia.
Other symptoms may include tingling of the skin, prolonged muscle spasms,
weakness in the limbs, nerve pain, functional bowel disturbances, and chronic sleep disturbances.
With this
comes many necessary
changes to be able to function on a daily basis. I believe that this
new life
has blessed me in many ways as I now find smiles, joys and
rays
of sunshine in the littlest things around me.
One of my goals is to Raise Awareness of what myself and others with this diagnosis go
through on a daily basis;
thus one of the reasons for making my CRPS/RSD Awareness Jewelry and Key Chains.
I will donate a portion of my proceeds from my CRPS/RSD Awareness Jewelry and Key Chains to RSDSA.
RSDSA
was founded in 1984 to promote public and professional awareness of
CRPS/RSD =
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.

"CRPS/Fibromyalgia Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional"
I live with HOPE and will forever more as that is what keeps me moving forward in
baby steps and a positive attitude.
