My Life as I know it now--
"I may live with CRPS, but IT hasn't taken ME!"
Where to start...
8 years ago I was injured at on the job. Within seconds that old rushed
life as an overachiever,
who barely slowed to enjoy all of what God had
blessed me with came to a screeching halt!
Now I live with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/ CRPS, which is a
relentless, chronic nerve pain syndrome.
With this comes many necessary
changes to be able to function on a daily basis. I believe that this
new life
has blessed me in many ways as I now find smiles, joys and rays
of sunshine in the littlest things around me.
One of my goals is to Raise Awareness of what myself and others with this diagnosis go
through on a daily basis;
thus one of the reasons for making my CRPS/RSD Awareness Jewelry and Key Chains.
I will donate a portion of my proceeds from my CRPS/RSD Awareness Jewelry and Key Chains to www.rsdsa.org.
RSDSA
was founded in 1984 to promote public and professional awareness of
CRPS/RSD =
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
"Life Isn’t About How You Survive The Storm, But How You Dance In The Rain.”
"CRPS Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional"
I live with HOPE and will forever more as that is what keeps me moving forward with baby steps and a positive attitude.
